I'm such a die-hard golf fan, I could be your own personal golf app. My parents taught me to play the game of golf was when I was three. Since then, I have developed a passion for the PGA like no one else I know. I have been all over the country to many PGA golf tournaments and have met all the tour players. Just watching the players practice, makes me want to improve my own golf game. Holidays and birthday parties are second to any PGA golf tournament that might be on. Mother's Day was spent watching THE PLAYERS Championship....sorry kids! :) I'll be at The BMW Championship, hope to see you there. oh and i thought that voting ended today. it's just the entry submissions. so people can vote for u until labor day. i didn't know if you knew that or not but i didn't until strutta sent an email saying it ended monday at midnight i think. good luck to you:)

yeah my Dad's name is dallas and i love that name too. your entry and video was really good. and it's really sweet that your husband is so supportive of you. that's so cool that you went to whistling straits. did you see the dustin johnson occurence and what did you think? i really heartbroken for him.

Wow! If I could personally thank everyone for voting for me, I would! I appreciate the time you guys took to watch my video and getting me one step closer to making my dream a reality. Thanks Mike! Yeah, I'm definitely a golf nerd! I have tons of tournament programs with autographs that I would love to hang around the house as well, but my hubby doesn't think that is a good idea. :( I suppose we need some wall space for our kids pics. lol. You are so sweet to want to give me your Reno-Tahoe Open hat for my golf room! But it sounds like you are quite the golf fan yourself, so you should hold onto it. Thank you for the generous offer though! I have always wanted to go to that tournament. Maybe someday. What an experience for you to get to go to Pebble Beach this year for the U.S. Open! I bet you will definitely get the "golf bug" to start going to more tournaments now. Maybe I'll see you at one in the future! :)

Awesome video. I must say, that is a lot of amazing stuff. This might sound crazy to you, but I found an old hat from the Reno-Tahoe Open (2001), that Justin Leonard (and a few others) signed for me at the tourney. I'd love for it to end up in your collection. Not sure how we'd make that work, but let me know if you're interested. By the way, I love the comment your husband left. You are definitely a fan! Real quick, I've only been to a few PGA events, but I had the chance to go to the U.S. Open, at Pebble, this year. It was an experience I will never forget!! Good luck on your entry.

We all have the same chance once we make the Top 10. If you have a Facebook, you need to get on Facebook or call people and ask them to register and vote so you can be in the running! I have send out countless emails, made phone calls, begged my friends on Facebook to vote. I've bugged my kids about asking their friends to register and vote. I called people that I met on a mission project from my church to vote. Get motivated so you will make it into the Top 10. The 2011 PGA Championship will be here at the Atlanta Athletic Club, home of lots of Bobby Jones memorabilia and a great course! If you are planning on coming, let me know at sharon28@bellsouth.net. It would be great to meet and I could tell you in person how jealous I am you have that great photo with Gary Player. After years of following him, getting my annual hug, etc... I still DO NOT even have a picture of the two of us together. Next year at Augusta I will be on a mission! Good luck!

Thanks Sharon! I appreciate all your nice words. Yeah, I think we are both huge PGA fans! We should meet up at a tournament sometime. I would love to watch golf with a fellow golf nerd like yourself! We could go watch the Champions Tour and follow Gary Player! :) I would also vote for you as well if I wasn't in this contest. You are way ahead in first place...great job! I didn't submit my video until this week because I was at the PGA Championship last week at Whistling Straits. I definitely think that hurt any chances of me winning. Good luck Sharon :)

Theresa, you are truly a HUGE fan! It is nice to see another person that is as obsessed as I am. I have caught the PGA bug and I don't even know why, but it has always been a part of my life. If I weren't competing against you, I'd be voting for you. You have so much great memorabilia! I LOVE Gary Player too! You are blessed to get to go to so many PGA events. I know her obsession for golf and the PGA -I am married to her! You will meet no one else like Theresa that talks, bleeds, thinks and dreams PGA. As you can see, OUR rec-room has turned into her rec-room. But I would take this over scrapbooking stuff anyday!!!!
